Attaching Documents on the PDF Screen

 

 

How to attach a Main Document on the PDF Screen:

  1. In CMECF:

    Click Browse button

     

  2. Choose File to Upload Menu will display

    • Locate the appropriate document/file

    • Highlight document

      The name of the PDF will appear at the bottom of the menu in Filename

     

  3. Verify document in the preview menu

    or

     

  4. View the file name to verify the correct file is being selected

     

  5. Click Open button

    Upon returning to CM/ECF, the file will appear to the left of the Browse button

 

 

How to add Attachments (Proposed Orders, Exhibits, etc)

After you have attached the main document and the filename appears in the browse window:

 

  1. On the PDF screen, click Yes Radio Button

  2. Click Next

  3. The screen for adding an attachment will display

  4. Complete Step 1) Select the PDF document that contains the attachment

    • In CMECF, Click Browse

    • Select the PDF file

    • Verify the correct file was selected

    • Click Open

  5. In CM/ECF, complete Step 2)Fill in the fields below: 

    Select a type of document from the Category pick list or enter a title in the Description field for the type of document field

  6. Complete Step 3) add the filename to the list box below.

    Click Add to List button

  7. Repeat steps 1 - 3 if there are additional proposed orders or other documents (i.e. exhibits etc.) being added as attachments
